What is the MPJE exam format?
NABP describes the MPJE as a 120-question, 150-minute pharmacy-law examination. The study baseline distinguishes 100 scored questions from 20 unscored pretest questions. Check NABP's current Candidate Application Bulletin and test-day information before scheduling.
Does a scaled score of 75 mean 75% correct?
No. The scaled passing standard of 75 is a conceptual scoring benchmark, not a raw percentage or a promised score report. NABP currently reports exam results as pass or fail. Confirm the current standard and reporting rules with NABP.
Which pharmacy-law exam do I need?
Your licensing board determines your requirements. MPJE study combines Federal law with the selected jurisdiction. Some jurisdictions use a different exam or licensing pathway, so a study page is not a statement that the MPJE is required there.
What is the UMPJE, and does my jurisdiction participate?
The Uniform MPJE assesses Federal pharmacy law and common principles of state law rather than one state's unique rules. Our UMPJE guide lists 13 participating jurisdictions and their start and MPJE retirement dates from NABP's October 2026 baseline. Confirm your pathway, eligibility, and any local requirements with your board.
What do state, Federal, and UMPJE access cost?
Federal-only access displays $45. One state costs $99 for that state's law only; Federal law is not included. State + Federal costs $125 for one eligible state and Federal law. Two states cost $180 for two distinct eligible states; Federal law is not included. All purchases are subject to availability. Existing buyers retain their previously granted Federal access. UMPJE is a distinct single uniform package covering federal law and common principles of state law, not a Federal purchase. UMPJE pricing is confirmed at checkout; if unavailable, it is coming soon. Is the trial separate for every jurisdiction or UMPJE?
No. The one-time MPJE trial lasts 3 days with no card required and applies across states, DC, Federal, and UMPJE. It does not restart when you change jurisdiction. Account eligibility is checked by the server.

What is the MPJE refund policy?
A 14-day no-questions refund applies to your first paid charge only; no exam result or practice threshold is required for that policy. Pass-or-refund covers the first paid charge only. Renewals are never refunded. Gift purchases are excluded, and gift sales are final. Eligible pass-or-refund claims provide a refund of your first paid charge, subject to the published study, exam-result, and claim-window requirements on the MPJE guarantee page.
Can a renewal or gift purchase be refunded?
No. Renewals are never refunded. Gift purchases are excluded from both the 14-day no-questions refund and pass-or-refund. All gift sales are final.
