Florida UMPJE study guide
Which law exam Florida uses
The Florida Board of Pharmacy now requires passing scores on the NAPLEX and the UMPJE [S1]. NABP lists Florida's UMPJE start as June 1, 2026 and its MPJE retirement as May 31, 2026. NABP lists Florida as not requiring the UMPJE for license transfer [S2]. A NAPLEX score transferred to Florida is valid for 3 years [S1].
Florida rules worth knowing
- Technician supervision (s. 465.014). A pharmacist may supervise only one registered technician unless Board guidelines allow more. Technicians must register, be at least 17 and complete a Board-approved training program [S3].
- PDMP (E-FORCSE). Schedule II–V dispensing is reported no later than close of business the day after dispensing [S4].
- CE. 30 hours per renewal: 26 general, 2 on controlled substances and 2 on medication errors. The 2 + 2 must be Board-approved [S5].
