Montana UMPJE study guide
Which law exam Montana uses
NABP lists Montana's UMPJE start as June 1, 2026 and its MPJE retirement as May 31, 2026. Transfer applicants "must have a previous passing UMPJE or MPJE score in any jurisdiction" [S1].
Montana rules worth knowing
- No fixed technician ratio (ARM 24.174.711). The pharmacist-in-charge sets the ratio. Interns do not count against it. A technician utilization plan is reviewed every year [S2][S3].
- MPDR. Pharmacies report Schedule II–V dispensing by close of the next business day after dispensing [S4]. Every licensee authorized to dispense must register with the MPDR [S5].
- CE (ARM 24.174.2104). 15 hours a year with at least 5 in an approved group setting, or 20 hours if fewer than 5 are group hours. Up to 15 extra hours carry forward [S3].
