What is the passing score for the California HHA exam?
You must score at least 70% on the written exam. For the skills evaluation, you must correctly demonstrate at least 5 randomly selected clinical skills.
How many times can I retake the California HHA exam?
California allows up to 3 attempts to pass the competency evaluation. If you fail all 3 attempts, you must complete the training program again before you can retest.
