Schedule II partial fills

Claim

A Schedule II prescription may be partially filled. If the pharmacy cannot supply the full quantity, the balance is generally due within 72 hours. Patient- or practitioner-requested partial fills have a 30-day window from the written date (72 hours for emergency oral). LTCF/terminally ill patients may receive partial fills for up to 60 days from issue.
